Thank you to Susan Martin and her assistant Christina Godbolt for opening the doors at The Book Nook to host ladies night. The evening generated just over $200 for both the Little Town Christmas and the Rotary Guatemala project.

The Chemainus Guatemala Rotary team is fortunate to have great help from other Vancouver Island Rotarians who have already been to Guatemala to do similar projects. In particular Jacqueline Mealing and David Sheppard are working hard on our behalf making arrangements for travel and accommodations. David and Jacqueline will be leaving in December to set things up for teams who will follow.
Graham Calder will be in Guatemala early and will set up projects for the Chemainus group. Vicki meanwhile will be working with another professional team doing dental work in the same area.
The Book Nook Coffee House and the Flowering Tree Natural Spa on Oak Street in Chemainus are hosting a silent auction in support of the Guatemala project on November 26th, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Ladies only, bring you mint condition jewellery , bags, boots or home decor items for auction and join the fun. Proceeds will be split 50/50 between Chemainus Rotary Guatemala project and the Little Town Christmas Society.
