We all took a boat trip around the lake a bit to San Lucas to visit the new Women’s Center there. The ladies were waiting in anticipation of our arrival proud to show of their center. This center has received a lot of help from the other Vancouver Island Rotary clubs including their first computer.
How many people can you fit on one of these boats? The answer…always one more.
We noticed a slightly different dress style at San Lucas and more American influence.

The use of drugs and alcohol is around but we do not see much of it. This is the first so far.
Stray dogs are common, You can’t get close to them but they seem to be doing OK.
