The Ancient Custom of Passing The Hats

As anticipated the donated soccer balls and uniforms from The Cowichan Valley Soccer Association were a big hit.  But whoever thought it would become a major community event. The recipients of the balls were a bit bewildered with the “Hat Passing” as would be any blog viewers new to our blog.

A local teacher gathered the children and general mayhem ensued as shirts were handed out and arrangements made for a group photo. If you look below you will get the picture.
