Change in Plans Takes Us to Panajachel

The elderly grandfather of our wonderful contractor Julian passed away late yesterday (Feb 12) and the community  came out in numbers to pay their respects.  Our Rotary group took a much-needed break in our work to travel by boat to Panajachel, stroll the market and drink Gallo cerveza in the same lakeside restaurant as last year. Beautiful weather here today folks….wish you were here.

Please pass on my condolences to Julian and his family .Our prayers and thoughts are with them. The boat ride looked like a great way to get to Panajahel. Good to get a break and enjoy the great weather.
