Stove Project Complete

Purchasing and installing seven stoves was one of our major projects and was completed successfully.  The families were responsible to get the heavy stoves up to the homes then Ken, a young local fellow and Petrona constructed the stoves   Most could be built in about 20 minutes but hooking up the chimney pipes was more difficult. This is where Ken’s skills really came to the fore with a lot of innovation and tricky dickey stuff.  Getting to the locations required being part mountain goat and Ken’s new hip-joint behaved marvelously.

Getting there was the first step. Many miles were chalked up.
